About the Toolkit
Child Care Aware of New Jersey is a not-for-profit agency that was founded in 1998 to help coordinate, assist, and strengthen child care services through a local network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies. The toolkit concept is part of CCANJ’s strategy to partner with employers to expand access to child care for employees. Quality child care is essential to a thriving state economy. We are hopeful that the menu of options contained in the toolkit will help employers understand the ways in which they can lean in to be part of the state’s solution to expanding access to affordable, high-quality child care for working parents.
